A letter from a 16 year old who gets as excited as a 4 year old over Christmas

Dear you,

With Halloween all over (yes I'm writing this the day after Halloween pssshh no what are you talking about?) the most exciting time/holiday of the year upon us, this is when I get really really excited about just about everything.. From the tree (though sadly I'm not having one this year) to the candy canes, endless amounts of chocolate and of course the presents.

What excites me most about presents is actually buying them for other people I love love LOVE it honestly.

As a self-proclaimed queen of gift buying and gift wrapping, I get incredibly excited about the whole month (okay almost two months) leading up to Christmas Day! It's currently the first of November as I'm writing this (though this won't be going up until the third) and I've got a word doc running of what I'm buying everyone, this year I'm actually only buying 3 presents one for a Secret Santa I'm having with friends at school, one for one of my friends who used to go to the same school as me, sadly she can't take part in the secret santa I'm having at school because that would complicate a lot,   but I thought it'd be nice for us to exchange gifts anyway and then due to the fact that my parents and I are leaving Australia to go visit friends and family in England (my brothers will already be there) on Christmas Day we thought it'd be nice to just buy a stocking worth of stuff for one person (I'm buying for my mum, mum's buying for dad, dad's buying for me). So anyway, I've already thought about what I'm getting my friend outside of school and my mum, and I would've thought about what to buy for the Secret Santa but we have to redo it on Monday due to some people joining last minute (ugh!).

I think you can probably tell that I'm an overly organised person (when it comes to Christmas/gift buying at least)

From me.
